There is a huge need for kids to be active and to be praised for their energy and creativity.  I have the ability to connect with students on a level to lift their confidence and inspire youth in break dancing.  There is a lot of posing called the “bboy stance” which we all start with because it is a power pose.  With this method we are able to lift the confidence of any kid in a very short amount of time.  With their new found confidence, they are willing to try new things, be silly and have fun.

PROGRAMS

Elementary School

Class Example (30 minutes) 

  • Warm up/movement games (3-5 minutes)
  • Introduction to breakdancing (2-5 minutes)
  • Teaching simple beginner moves (5-10 minutes)
  • Freestyle dance time/individual coaching (5-10 minutes)
  • Closing game or crew battles (as time allows)

*format/timing may change according to the class response.

Middle School

Class Example (50 minutes) 

  • Dance-specific warm-up (5 minutes)
  • Introduction to breakdancing/history/battling (3-5 minutes)
  • Teaching beginner moves (10 minutes)
  • Freestyle practice of moves we learned in the class/chance for kids to try out their own moves/ individual coaching (15-20 minutes)
  • Closing cipher or battles (as time allows)

High School

 Class Example (50 minutes) 

  • Dance-specific warm up (5 minutes)
  • Introduction to breakdancing/history/battling (3-5 minutes)
  • Teaching beginner moves (10 minutes)

Book Two Days:
6hrs – Full day $350 (per day)
